Any junkyard, pick your part on VI?
« on: Sep 03, 19, 22:03 »
I recently bought an automatic Corrado and would like to manual swap it.
I need to find a Passat B4 and dismantle what I need.
Is there such a place on the island?

Wrecking yards on the Island are not as plentiful as they used to be. I would start with Malahat Wrecking.

If they don't have, they can put the word out to other yards.

Or you find someone with a stash of Passats. Like maybe Jesse. I seem to recall him going through a wave of various Passats.
He's on here.  "Jesse".

Go.

Thanks man! That's good info, I'll call them to find out and if they don't have any Passat, I'll check with Jesse.

Much appreciated!
Cheers JF

IIRC, there's a Passat sitting in a back corner at "Valley Affordable" in the Comox Valley (it's about 10minutes outside of Courtenay).
3493 Royston Rd, Courtenay, BC (it's actually in/near Royston, BC - despite the address that Google gave me)

Can't remember what generation the Passat was, but it was either a B4 or B5.

Thank you!
You guys are awesome, much appreciated.
I'll wait to hear back from someone on dubberz who contacted me also as I would prefer paying a member of the site before someone else...
But having options is a great thing!
Thanks man!
