Title: Best internet service - Lower Mainland
Post by: MK5ville on Aug 29, 17, 10:44
Finally cutting the cord. I'm not much into downloading, I'll use internet for browsing, netflix, music and porn.
What are you guys using that is reasonably priced but more importantly capable?

You'll want decent bandwidth if you're going to be streaming. I love my shaw 150, but it's really more like 170, I consistently get 21mb +. $80/month though.

Telus Fibre. Shaw can't touch it.

I, for one, appreciate your honesty.

I'm on Telus 50/10 until they finish installing 250/250 or 950/250 in my complex.  I negotiated an extension with loyalty to go another 6 months at $30 a month with unlimited bandwidth as they haven't met their original timeline for the fiber install.   Telus customer service sucks, but if you don't mind putting the time in they are big enough that you can usually negotiate a good discount.
