I will second that......does your name have anything to do with your 2 24 hours?
I still don't know why automakers put turn signals on cars....they are only used by about 3% of the population 15% of the time.

What is the Responsible Driver Program?
The Responsible Driver Program (RDP) is British Columbia’s remedial program for drinking drivers. Drinking and driving remains a leading cause of injuries and fatalities on B.C. highways, and the public demand protection from drinking drivers.
Every Canadian province and many jurisdictions throughout the world have a compulsory remedial program for drinking drivers. Evaluations of remedial programs indicate that they reduce the risk of repeat alcohol-related accidents and convictions.
The Province has partnered with Stroh Health Care (“Stroh”) to deliver this program province-wide.

Why Am I Required to Take the Program?
The program is required when someone has been convicted of an alcohol-related driving offence or has multiple alcohol-related driving events on their driving record, such as 24-hour prohibitions or Administrative Driving Prohibitions. Some drivers are required to take the program because the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles has evidence of an alcohol abuse or misuse problem.

Sounds like a good time. Maybe you will learn a thing or two.

You can get a 24 hour suspension without having a drop to drink.

Well , thanks for the mature comments . And yes , you can get a 24hr , with out drinking or being intoxicated . I know that im not the only one in the area to make mistakes . why don't you let the law deal with the punishment since that is what it is there for . I just thought i would get some opinions . oh well .

to the "high horse" comments;
this isn't like the who lives at home (xbox mom beater) thread.....this person has been convicted by the BC courts (either by not offering a defense, or losing in court) and has been sentenced to this program.
You were in a car, or operated a car while impaired....and it seems as if you have done it more than once.
You deserve whatever consequences come to you.

And to top it off...its not like this is something floating out in the ether that you can't quantify or make tangible.  It's not like doing what you did doesn't have consequences that can effect others in a very real way.

YOU FUCKED UP

I stand by my original comments.
Maybe you will learn something from a program such as this, because clearly you weren't paying attention in common sense 101.

*and really....we're defending impaired driving now?  are some of you just trying to be hipsters, going against EVERYTHING that gets said?

Becuase speeding on streets doesn't have very real consiquences etc etc etc, i bet your turbo was just for better gas mileage?

the high horse comment is right, he wasn't necissarilly convicted if he had 2 24hrs, he didn't get criminally charged. What is the point in fighting a 24 hour, by the time you get to court you can't get that 24hrs  back.

lol!!! 24 hour suspensions are neither "court convictions" or impaired driving.  It can be handed down at the discretion of the officer

What he said.

Also, you'll find that on here no one has any sympathy for people who complain about their tickets, court dates, or other run-ins with the law.

TO FINALLY ANSWER YOUR QUESTION

I asked a couple of people i know that took it, its stupid easy and is mostly trying to teach people common sense. Prepare to be dazzled by what the general public doesn't know but they only force people that have had tickets/suspensions to take!!! Just remember, that you can have your license revoked BUT STILL BE A ROAD STAR.....

I fail to see where this guy was complaining about anything... he was just asking if anyone has taken the course.

though he isnt compaining, we can sometimes read between the lines

we can assume too - we do that alot on this board as well.  goes well with judgements we make.
