Wiring harness de-pin tool

Anyone know of a good option locally or online.

Want to remove of bunch of wiring from the 1.8T harness for my swap and don't just want to cut them at the plugs

any ideas would be great

was hoping not to go all out and pick up a kit like that as this really is a one time deal that i need it for

I bought a 30 piece kit off eBay for like $25 last year. Great purchase.

Can always resell after you’re done.

Go on YouTube and search ‘How to make terminal release tools for VW and Audi’. There is a DIY on how to make a tool from the steel strip from an old windshield wiper. I made a couple and they work great. I made mine without the handle, tweezer style. But seriously, works great. I kept this photo in case I ever needed to make one again.

I don’t live down in the lower mainland anymore. I moved up to kamloops a few years ago. But I still lurk...
