LS1 coils to replace unreliable VR6 coils

Anyone do this? Apparently they have igniters built in so you can loose the ICM altogether.

At 19 psi, 24 degrees peak timing, C16 and 93, 9.5:1 CR...

507 wheel, 435pound feet.

Stock head, stock cams, still just running off wastegate spring right now.

I'm not cynical, just experienced.

NM...just read and learnt it was standalone....should have figured it was a bit much HP with OEM ECU
I'm not cynical, just experienced.
