My New 1.8 turbo Mk4 golf

Let me know what you guys think


HP: 203 @ 5,900rpm TQ: 190 @ 4,000rpm 0-60: 6.8 sec

No cat and turbo back exhaust gets another 20-40hp

Engine Specs:1.8T I-4, 3" stainless exhaust, Neuspeed P-Flow intake, Neuspeed P-Chip

Transmission:Five-speed manual transmission, Neuspeed short-shift kit

Suspension: Bilstein front and rear dampers, Neuspeed Race springs front and rear, Neuspeed front and rear sway bars, Neuspeed front

strut bar. High performance brakes

Lowered with JMS body kit, performance pads and rotors

What cheap mods can I do to increase power?

The only other thing I could think of for a cheap mod would be a larger down pipe other then that all your cheap mods are done. The next you could do cams but your probably looking around $400 would be a guess and that's if you do them yourself. Nice car other wise

The turbo itself is the bottleneck on these. It is tiny. No point doing anything else (other than maybe intercooler) until you get up into a K-O4 or larger. You might squeeze a bit more out of it with other things, but its going to be marginal.

Dude, go find another forum. This thread proves how f---ing horrible this place is.
