As far as I can tell it's America only.  Which is fine, up until you need your american lens to have any repairs done under warranty.  Some good deals to be had there though.  Unfortunately, no lenses that are on my shopping list right now.

glad to hear another positive review, my main concerns really lie with the the issues I'm having with my 50mm 1.4G

Back-focus extravaganza, sharpness goes to crap under F2 (expected I suppose), Chromatic Abberation up the ass and quite a bit of barrel distortion which I did not expect from a 50mm Prime. I Just recently made a custom lens profile in photoshop to correct these issues, But still issues I didn't expect from a lens that receives so much praise.

the 85mm 1.8 @ $400 is quite delicious looking though.

^ take your lens in, there's something wrong with it. I've got the 50mm 1.4 as well as it's brilliant, so if you're having all of those issues, get it looked at, it shouldn't be that way.

The 35mm 1.8 is also nice and is getting rave reviews, with great image quality.

35 1.8?  Isn't that a DX lens?

Nevermind.  Just checked into it and looks like there's a new lens.  Cool.

Have you tried AF fine tune on your 50mm 1.4G?

I have the 85 1.8g and it's an amazing lens... sharper than the 1.4 as well and a great deal

I have the fine tune at -10 and it's a little better, it didn't change any going further into the negatives. .

The 85 seems really popular and in alot of cases being praised more than the 1.4, some say the 1.8D is a better all around but it's hard to find a solid used one for much cheaper than these new G series.

I snagged up a used 14-24 2.8 a few months ago off craigslist for cheap, it's disgustingly sharp.

hmm.. it should... it'll actually start to front focus the more negative you go. I recommend using this chart and setting up the camera on a tripod 50x the focal length away.

Why do you want the 14-24 AND the 16-35?  I deliberated between the two for a while and ended up going 16-35.  Been using it a couple years now....great lens.
