Mk4 Parts
« on: Jun 30, 18, 23:54 »
Going to be selling the car soon, so I have a bunch of parts to sell & trade.
I’ll be adding more parts/pic as they become available…

- Pair of LCA’s (mk1TT 00-06)
This is an ideal upgrade for oem camber setup, but would require R32 knuckles & Audi TT ball joints to make this work. $80. each
-pix coming-

- Oem roof racks (4dr only) & Thule fairing, can sell together or separately
Racks $180.
Fairing SOLD.
Used, in good condition, comes with one key & no tool (allen key works just as good)

- Oem euro smooth rub strip  #1J5807719JGRU
Brand new, never installed front bumper rub strip that excepts chrome trim.
Sidemarker delete, euro plate cut out & comes primed. SOLD

- Shaved & de-badged trunk lid Lagoon blue (LA5W) for trade, plus cash $350.
Must be in good to mint condition. This was a brand new trunk that I had replaced and the work was done at Truline autobody in Port Moody.

- Looking to trade my 19’’ Rotiform IND not produced any more. Please check Dubberz 5x100 classified section for more info http://dubberz.com/forum/5x100-wheels/wtt-ind-for-rcs/

- Mazda RX-8 Recaro front seats with base adapters & comes with black leather rears $2,500.
I’ve removed the airbags from both seats and replaced with seat foam & have bypassed the airbag warning light on the dash by looping the signal via ohm resistors.
Or trade for a mint set of GLI front and rear recaro’s plus cash on your end $1,600

- H&R front sway bar 28mm $185. #HR 33525 VA2 (F)

- A pair of smoked Jetta lenses in mint condition $50.

- Lots of Jetta/Golf lights parts & projectors that will be listed

- InPro chrome mirror covers with box SOLD.

Can you tell me more about the Recaros. Can they be installed into the MK4's with the base adaptors and still have the tilt working? How about a few pics of the seats. Please text to me if easier.

Thanks,

Peter

They are currently in the car and will work with Jetta, Golf.
Seats have no up & down movement, these are fixed at the lowest settings as possible. Backrest tilt, forward & reverse adjustment only. (non power)

Sounds like they will fit as they are. I read that you had bypassed the airbag system with a resistor. Did you do this at the plug (car side) or is there a plug in the seats that you modified? Also, you mentioned "non power" so I expect that there are no seat heaters.

I think the back seats won't fit in the Beetle as they are wider in the Golf and Jetta.

The front seats we have in the car were added a couple of years ago (sat on a shelf for about 15 years) but are too soft and flat so not very good for longer trips which is all we use the Beetle for. It is our tow vehicle.

I made a resistor using an oem plug for the seatbelt & air bag by looping the connection to disable air bag sensor light. If you need to read more about how this is done, there are many write ups on lots of forums explaining this more in depth with aftermarket seats :)

Seats are non power, no heated seats. It wouldn't be hard to make them heated.
I can always adjust the price without the rear seats if you're interested.

You can pm me or email 1dublow@gmail.com if you have another questions

Excuse my mk4 ignorance but do the bars work on a 4 door golf as well?
