So Idk if this is a common issue with golfs but whenever Iím driving the RPM needle and engine revs stays where it is when I let go of the gas peddle, the needle and revs go down slowly after applying the brakes. Thankfully it hasnít caused me any trouble yet but I was wondering if there is a fix to this problem

I had the same problem with my 1.8L digifant engine. It could be a bad ISV, and could be a vacuum leak. The ISV is the only thing letting air into the engine when the throttle body closes
