Jetta ABA Turbo
« on: Oct 11, 17, 23:42 »
So I think I'm having a midlife crisis and have decided I should sell all my toys and buy a sensible car to DD (I think) and also get my dream car
So kinda putting a feeler to see if there is any interest in my Jetta.

Specs;
91 Jetta wolfsburg
Body 314****km
Engine roughly 150***km
Shell is super clean, little to no rust
paint is rough on the roof and clear coat is pealing on trunk, kinda like the sleeper look so never bothered me.
K Sport coilover with adjustable damping
Upgraded sway bar F+R polyurethane bushings
New power steering rack
control arm bushings were done few years ago
11" brakes up front and disk conversion on rear
Stance works one piece aluminum wheels (lightweight!)
R wheel bearings just done

Engine;
ABA OBD1
Original Kinetic Turbo kit stage 2
MSD coil
FMIC
Tial wastegate
GFB Diverter valve
Nubworks SRI (new)
Billet fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator (new)
Turbonectics T3/T4 F1-57  (new)
3" turbo back exhaust with magnaflow muffler
dual oil cooler setup, factory water cooler and a Mocal 16 row external cooler
O2A 16v transmission/hydro clutch conversion
Clutch was new about a year ago
Just done timing belt and maintenance items

Interior;
Full Recaro, Seats, door cards,carpet etc
F seats were Repaired by Tim at velocity upholstery, Back seats are in great shape
Votex center console
Duo styling volt,oil temp,oil pressure gauges
Autometer boost gauge
Aem Wideband
Head liner needs some attention. I have black suede material for it, was going to be a winter project

Car is daily driven and at 20psi, I don't drive it all that hard to be honest. I've never found the 7k rev limiter because by 6k your already going way to fast for the street! lol
Also been on synthetic oil, currently on 15-50 redline
Chevron 94 always

sure I'm missing a bunch of stuff, so ill edit as I remember
$5500

I always find it funny when a modified car is posted forsale and the seller gets worried because it hasn't sold in 3 days.

These things take time.  It might take you 2-3-4 months to sell it. That doesn't mean your price is to high, it just means there's not a buyer out there for it today.

That's the problem. You cant put a price on a modified car, you will never get your money back. But i was also unsure if i priced too high that's all.
I dont want to be a dreamer with the price, the car should go to a good home that will keep on top of it....that's all.

I've seen the car in person and talked to you about it.  I think the price is good.  I think your pictures are horrible.

Spend a day and give it a good deep cleaning, drive it to a nice big bright place and take a dozen good photos of all angles
