Surface rust on passenger side. Nice sized hole in the middle.

Hate to see this car go for so cheap. But I'm getting into the housing market in the next two months.
Need the money for a down payment so I can have 4 walls and roof instead of an old sweet mk1 Jetta Coupe.
I'm now losing money on the car, and patience waiting for the right buyer to come along has long gone.

Car runs and drives- drove it around all day Saturday with zero issues. Still has the above mentioned issues to be fixed (Vacuum leaks, Wiper Stalk, Rust hole in Cowl, Radio)
BUT who wants to fix those really, fab up some quick mounts and swap in a VR6 and O2J. (Probably should still fix the problems outside the vacuum leaks if you go this route...)

We all know what it could be with a just a small amount of work.

disclaimer: Not actually a small amount of work.

1500$ will take Sondra home with you.
Come over to the smooth side of automatics and power steering.
