Joined in on this afternoon's cruise to Island View Beach. Still had fun cruising with some great looking air-cooled VWs along with a handful of water-cooled VWs. I was the only Audi there but I had a great time nonetheless. Took a few pics at the beach on my cellphone. Uploaded them to an album.

You should have gone down. There were some nice cars and good people there.  If I had more faith in my car and more free time i would brought mine down instead of rumbling my slow ass sweatbox truck. There is always next year!

yeah i really wanted too, but my car needs valve seals pretty bad so didn't wanna drive it too much

Had a great day, thanks for everyone that put this together!! I wish i wasn't so ocd about cleaning my car tho lol. next year i will clean it before the show not at the show.

Glad you made it back ok!

It was good to see so many people show up this year.  Thanks to the organizers for all of their work!

I had a great time at my first volksfest! thanks to everyone for everything. glad I didnt turn back when my turbo oil feed started leaking.

Brush holder in the rad fan came apart a bit, mashed some windings.  Luckily I had a couple spare slim fans!
