This contest is open to anyone and everyone. Every month there will be a topic or theme. You may submit 1 entry per person that relates to the theme of the month. The last week of the month the contest thread will be locked and a poll thread will be started for you to vote on your favorite photo. Winner of each month pics the next topic (please pm me the topic and i'll get it going again).

Rules:- Photo must be taken DURING the assignment time period. That means shot after the first posting of the assignment and before the deadline. This encourages you to go out and shoot with the assignment in mind.
- If possible please keep exif intact so that others can see it as it can be used as a good learning tool. If you use a host that does not retain the exif, please link back to the original photo at the host site.
- Basic Photoshop/editing is allowed (levels, exposure, saturation, sharpening, etc), but no complete altering of the photo/subject, as in, no fake blurs, no dropping one subject into a different background, that kind of stuff. Converting to B&W and selective color is ok. HDR will also be permitted. Remember its a photo contest, not a photoshop contest.
- No Nudity, Illegal activity, implied illegal activity, or anything else that would normally not be allowed in this forum should be posted.
- Post entries in this thread, do not make a separate thread for each entry. For each entry please add a separate reply
- The assignment thread is for posting photos ONLY, no discussion all ideas/questions should be directed to the person who is in charge of the theme that month. Comments and critiques will be accepted in the voting thread.
- This month's winner wins a pat on the back for a job well done.
- You can only submit a maximum of 1 picture per month. If even you can't decide which one is the best, the board is going to have an even tougher time with twice the number of submissions to go through.

Everyone is encouraged to participate regardless of skill level. With or without an SLR/DSLR. It will help you grow as a photographer to see how others perspectives on a similar subject.
Remember, as this is a photo contest there is more to it than just the monthly theme. Please still take the time to carefully compose and think about the entirety of your images. Please direct theme questions to Tabo.
