I picked up a revision D diverter valve as mine was not holding boost. When installing, the top bolts stripped the threads in the aluminum. I was barely putting any pressure on so I am thinking they were on the way out anyways.

My questions are, what does the diverter valve bolts screw into. I just got this car so I am still becoming familiar with it. What is the best route for fixing this problem? I have had it suggested that I retread or use a longer bolt but I would like to do a genuine fix if I can.

It threads into the turbo.
DAS. Expect nothing.
