hey guys,

recent purchaser of an MK7 Jetta TSi and I am wondering how hard it would be to add fog lights into the front bumper that didnt come with it.

to me it looks like all I have to do is buy the lights, the bezel for the front bumper, and change the headlight switch inside the car, is there anything else I need to get / source?  maybe a wiring harness (if that doesnt already exist in the car?)

Also, I'm wondering if its easy to find out if I have the Tire Pressure Sensors in my car?  I want to buy some rims and kinda poked around the manual and havent really found anything definitive.

SR-71

you'll need a control module from HID-equipped car.
You have TPMS but there are no sensors in the wheels. You will have to simply reset the tire pressures in your car's settings.
DAS. Expect nothing.

For the foglights, you can also consider running your own wires and switch.  As long as you know how to run clean and safe wiring, and can source a half decent-looking switch that's not completely ghetto-style, it's far easier and cheaper than having to deal with factory wiring, switches, and modules.
been there: vw mk1 mk2 mk3 mk4 b3
done that: audi b3 b5 c3 d2
and more: acura bmw honda mazda mercedes mini nissan toyota

This is kind of what I was thinking, maybe run a toggle switch beside the main switch.

So pretty much I could just buy a fog kit and then do the rest myself.  Is there an easily accessible hole from the firewall into the cabin (excuse the noob questions)
