Depending on how stretched your tires are ... not recomended. I would not atempt it.

that defeats the purpose of both of those.  stretched tires are purely for looks.  if you're going to auto-x i would suggest getting a second set of really light wheels and put on the fattest tires you can.  the more grip the better.  also the lighter weight the better

thats not necessarily true Kevin, IIRC with regular tires there is a natural roundness to them, giving them a high spot in the middle of the tread. Having a SLIGHTLY stretched tire would flatten that spot out.

if properly inflated and with the weight of the car on them thye will be flat and not have a high spot.  if you are using stretched tires then you are taking away from potential surface are that can be used especially under cornering

i autocrossed my car with stretched tires, as long as you have enough PSI in there to stop the tire from rolling the wall and exposing the rim you are fine and wont damage anything.  just dont be a goof about it.  i drove the car about 75% and avoided a super tight hairpin right that may have been bad....it all went fine

so in other words you would have had a much better time if you had the proper size tire

also people do stretch tires for autox for another reason and that is math when it comes to cornering angled sidewall wont roll as much as a straight up one i was told a little stretch is good

youve only really got stretched tires in the back. doesnt count.

when beating the absolute piss out of a tire, stretched or not, they can pop a bead. i've done it...but chances of doing it under even highly spirited driving are very low.

i love stretched tires, but i dont fool myself into thinking theyre good for performance. chances are you'd be fine autocrossing that tire, but your grip threshold will be much lower.
