Did anyone else watch "Red State" this year? Completely unlike anything Kevin Smith has ever done. I thought it was awesome. Lots of action.

No Country for Old Men, finally picked it up on Blu ray and gawd I love this movie.
If you haven't read the book, all I have to say is you are missing an amazing read.

This has to be my favorite Coen Brothers movie and that is hard to say with titles like:
Millers Crossing
The Big Lebowski
Fargo
True Grit

Javier Bardem as Chigurh is terrifying, he has to be one of the all time best villains.

I read that the Coen's wanted Heath Ledger, but he wanted to take some time off.

Watched "The Rum Diary" last night:  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0376136/

Recommended watch.  Falls along the same thematic style as Fear and Loathing, and dedicated to the memory of Hunter S. Thompson (the original writer of the novels) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunter_S._Thompson.
