Hello everyone,

As Christmas is just around the corner, and slowly gearing up for the winter season, I am happy to start up and announce our annual event of the Christmas Toy Drive for 2017.  For those that have not been to this event before, I host this for one specific reason: to give the spirit of Christmas to those that are in the need of help for the holiday season.  We have been proudly going to the Langley Christmas Bureau for the past years and they have been more excited when I give them a call for us doing this event to their Bureau.

The Bureau has been notified of our arrival and they are excited for us to coming down again.

Can I donate cash instead of bringing in an unopened boxed gift?
Absolutely.  Just keep in mind if you want a tax receipt, minimum donation is $20.

What age group are they desperate in need?
When I asked, they are looking for both boys and girls in the 9-11 age group.  They will still accept other age groups in case.

Where is the Bureau located in Langley?
20702 Eastleigh Crescent.

CRUISE DETAILS

- Drivers Meeting will be at 10:45am, and the actual drive will start at 11:00am.
- There is no forecast of snow, but temperatures may be cold.  The route will not change.  Please make sure to dress warmly.
- This year, the route will be about 15kms more due to our start location, which will be at Carvolth Exchange in Langley.  We will take Hwy 1 and take Exit 48/49 (Lougheed Highway).
- Once we keep right and take the exit, we would want to go East on Hwy 7 and follow that route all the way to Coquitlam Centre.
- We will follow the route of Highway 7 until we reach to Mission, where we make a right to go on Hwy 11 (Abbotsford - Sumas Hwy)
- After hitting the bridge, we would want to take the very first exit on our right that goes to Riverside Street, going southbound.
- Make a right to Harris Rd and keep going straight until we hit Mt. Lehman Rd.
- Turn left and the auto mall should be on your right.

After our break at Tim Hortons / Wendy's, we will proceed with the following route:

- We merge onto Highway 1 going towards Langley and we will take Exit 66 (232 St) and proceed to go southbound.
- We stay along the 232 St route and go south until we hit 56th Ave and we turn right.  There is a roundabout on 232 and 56 intersection.
- Keep going westbound until we hit Eastleigh Crescent and the facility will be the corner of 56th Ave and Eastleigh Crescent.

If any shops or group of people that would like to do any sponsorship opportunities, whether it's toys or cash, please feel free to PM me or send me an email to arka.movsessian@gmail.com.

Thank you guys!! :)

Edited the first post with updates and route ideas.

My apologies for not posting sooner in regards to this, as work has took it's toll on me and been doing alot of OT.  But I should be able to post more frequently as my times have been set and have a bit more freedom :)

The event is still going on...

The bureau has been contacted about 2 weeks ago and they are aware of our arrival.  As always, they are excited for our group to coming this year.  The map was posted on the first post (until I saw recently that the links I usually use are not working anymore).  When asked the bureau of what they need the most, they are looking for boys and girls in the age group of 9-11.  They will still accept any other age groups for gifts, but the one they don't have enough of would be the age 9-11 group.  If people want to do cash donations, they will accept it as well.  Just be aware to getting a tax receipt, I believe the minimum is $20.  Any new updates, I usually edit the first post with new information and put a "update" post to bump up the thread.

I will get the map image figured out and will post it; this year, we will do Option 2 which we will start in Langley and end in Langley :)

Abbythug, thank you for the FB event. :)

I've been told 11am.
An update for all new comers would be appreciated, maybe clarify the exact time to meet.
