How did they protect the backside of the new metal?

New pics and videos are up on the album site.
All parts and body are epoxied and protected.
Yes inner area with new metal is also treated and protected.

Paint possibly going on Saturday!
Potentially picking up car next week!

Can't wait and am now scared of driving it...LOL!

How did they get access to the backside after welding it shut?
Did you see how they were able to clean the backside of the weld and prep it for paint protection after it has been welded closed?

Great question.
I have asked him via text as I'm out of town and will post his reply once I get it.

Car has paint!
Both hoods, bumpers and body.
Inners of doors and hatch also done.
Still lots to do before I get it back.
Most likely next week back in my hands.
Really liking the colour!

Ok everyone,
I need some input.
The original antenna is old and cracked.
I can either source out a new OEM one or use a FIN.

We will paint the FIN the same colour as the car and re-assess.
Initially I didn't like it, but then it started to grow on me. After seeing a number of other cars with fins after leaving the shop, it fits in line with them.

I'm open to your thoughts and suggestions.

I like the fin, it fits the car well.  There is something to be said about keeping the car factory with what originally came on there, but little additions like that look really good when chosen properly.

The Corrado's roof is very short and makes that fin look much too big.  A sleeker/narrower fin would look great, but this one is too bulky.

It looks fine but I can see being denied for collector plates for that fin, which for me would be a deal breaker.  I would get an OEM base and a short antenna

I would do this if it were my car too.
