Even the Uro and 4k are different in the floor pans, and the floor pans from the 4k are way different then the Coupe GT, even though they have the similar engines/drive lines ie inline 5cyl's

I always wanted a Audi 20vt in my coupe, or for that matter a 20vt in a 90 coupe :-)

The floor in the 4000Q and the UR are very similar.

There are very few similarities between a coupe GT and a Quattro.

If you have a Quattro, mechanically nothing is the same on a coupe GT, not the motor, not the transmission, not the Diffs, not the  drive shafts, not any of the suspension.
Body wise, the doors and hood are the same and some years the trunk lid ( after 1984/5 the Quattro got a composite lid).  I guess the glass is the same.  Interior wise, again not much is the same.

Really they are 2 different cars that look similar.
The Quattro was a hand build car produced on its own production line by a small team in low numbers. Pretty special, much under valued but starting to catch up.

I always thought the coupe and 4k shared the same motor in non turbo form?
I had 4k interior in my coupe....which sucked since the seat release wasn't present.  I owned it for 3 years and when it died(in a hotel parking lot in Moncton, NB) I sold it to someone for $70.

The old skool 5cyl have such a unique sound to them(mine didn't)

The front seats will bolt up, but they are not the same.

The engine is non-turbo charged again therefore not the same.

Parts of the cars are related but the Quattro is a hell of a lot more unique then appears

The 4k and CGT did share motors. Only non-turbo motors were available. UrQs had turbocharged motors, the majority of them being 10vt with late models having the rare 20vt motor.

Love both my Audi 5-cylinder motors. Such a distinct sound.

Sounds like it but it's not as insane as air-cooled 911 prices. Those things were reasonably affordable 10-15 years ago. Not any more. Recently saw one asking $100k. The Quattro still has a bit of catching up to do. Not surprising as they are a cult classic and are starting to become more and more desirable for their rarity and unique factor.

There's 911s that bring 1 Million dollars. $100,000 is nothing
